Shark Tale

In the 2004 animated computer-comedy Shark Tale, the underworld mechanics of a classic mobster movie are reimagined inside a bustling, underwater metropolis. Oscar (voiced by Will Smith) is a fast-talking, underachieving bluestreak wrasse who works as a tongue-scrubber at the local Whale Wash, constantly dreaming of wealth and high-society status on the Reef. His life drastically changes when he witnesses a freak accident: a falling anchor accidentally kills Frankie, the vicious son of Don Lino (Robert De Niro), a ruthless great white shark mob boss. Seizing the moment, Oscar claims credit for killing the predator, instantly earning the legendary title of "The Shark Slayer." To maintain his fraudulent fame and protect the reef, Oscar forms a secret, highly unusual alliance with Frankie’s gentle, vegetarian younger brother, Lenny (Jack Black), who wants to fake his own death to escape his father's criminal empire. As Oscar gets swept into a world of wealth and dangerous mafia politics, he must desperately maintain the lie while navigating his feelings for his loyal friend Angie (Renée Zellweger) and a seductive gold-digger named Lola (Angelina Jolie).
