The Expendables 3

In the 2014 action sequel The Expendables 3, Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) faces a ghost from his past during what was supposed to be a routine mission to intercept a shipment of thermobaric missiles in Somalia. The arms dealer behind the deal turns out to be Conrad Stonebanks (Mel Gibson), the ruthless co-founder of the Expendables whom Barney believed he had executed decades earlier. After Stonebanks severely wounds Hale Caesar (Terry Crews) during the firefight, a guilt-ridden Barney decides his aging crew is too old to keep risking their lives. He abruptly disbands the team and recruits a younger, tech-savvy generation of mercenaries with the help of retired operative Bonaparte (Kelsey Grammer). Armed with high-tech gear, the new recruits launch a mission to capture Stonebanks, only to be outmaneuvered and taken hostage. Forced to swallow his pride, Barney must team up with a highly talkative veteran named Galgo (Antonio Banderas), his replacement handler Max Drummer (Harrison Ford), and his original, loyal crew to stage a massive rescue operation in a hostile Eastern European stronghold.
