Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

In the 1989 action-adventure masterpiece Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, set in 1938, Dr. Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) learns that his estranged father, Dr. Henry Jones Sr. (Sean Connery), has vanished while searching for the Holy Grail. After receiving his father's detailed research diary in the mail, Indy travels to Venice with museum curator Marcus Brody (Denholm Elliott). There, they team up with Austrian scientist Dr. Elsa Schneider (Alison Doody) and uncover a subterranean tomb hidden beneath a library, pointing the way to the Grail's final resting place. However, they soon discover that the Nazi regime is funding the excavation, desperate to seize the legendary cup to grant Adolf Hitler immortal life. Racing across Europe and into the deserts of the Middle East, Indy must rescue his stubborn father from a Nazi stronghold, navigate a deadly web of betrayal, and survive three lethal ancient traps to find the true Grail before the fascists can claim its divine power.
