Storyline
In the 2022 superhero action film Samaritan, Sylvester Stallone stars as Joe Smith, a reclusive garbage collector living in the decaying, crime-ridden Granite City. Thirteen-year-old Sam Cleary suspects that his quiet neighbor is actually Samaritan, a legendary, super-powered vigilante who was believed to have died twenty-five years ago in a fiery battle with his villainous twin brother, Nemesis. As poverty and violence escalate across the city—fueled by a ruthless gang leader named Cyrus who idolizes Nemesis—Sam forms an unlikely friendship with Joe. When Cyrus discovers Joe's true nature, the aging titan is forced out of hiding to protect the kid and save the city from destroying itself.
