The Prince of Egypt goes down in history not just an exceptional Christian movie, but also as one of the most iconic animated movies of all time. With expert storytelling, this movie artistically depicts the life of Moses from an endangered infant to the prince of Egypt and then eventually the leader of Israel as they were freed from slavery. There is something magical about seeing major studios with big budgets not only make Biblical movies, but also handle the source material fairly well and with reverence and respect. This movie also has such an iconic soundtrack! I remember hearing the songs and enjoying them when I was a child, years before I ever even saw the film. They were engrained in my mind, and when I first watched the movie as an adult, there was an instant familiarity with the renowned songs written for this film. All in all, this is a truly iconic movie that represents some of the best of Hollywood's depictions of the Bible on the big screen.
