Here Comes the Boom (2012) centers on Scott Voss (Kevin James), a burnt-out 42-year-old high school biology teacher who has long since lost his passion for instruction. When severe budget cuts threaten to eliminate the school's music program—and lay off its dedicated teacher, Marty Streb (Henry Winkler)—Scott decides to step up and raise the $48,000 needed to save it.
