The Ten Commandments barely needs an introduction, as it has gone down in history as one of the most memorable and iconic Christian movies of all time. The incredible scope and scale of this retelling of the story of Moses in the Bible reminds us of the day when the biggest filmmakers in Hollywood were pouring premium dollars into Biblical epics. To this day, the special effects of the rods turning into snakes, the Nile turning to blood, and the Red Sea parting are among the most iconic in film history. This movie was a notable part of my family ever since my childhood, and I am still every bit as impressed by it now as I was as a child. Although this hearkens back to a day when Hollywood's casting for Middle Eastern roles did not accurately fit the mold, the acting of Charlton Heston in this movie is remarkable and a masterclass in portraying a genuinely iconic figure throughout the ages. I believe that many of you will enjoy this movie!
