The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

In the 2008 supernatural action-adventure sequel The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, the franchise shifts focus from Egypt to China. Decades after their original adventures, a bored, retired Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) and his wife Evelyn (Maria Bello, replacing Rachel Weisz) are drawn back into the world of ancient curses when their now-grown archaeologist son, Alex (Luke Ford), accidentally unearths the resting place of the brutal, shape-shifting Dragon Emperor (Jet Li). Cursed by a powerful sorceress thousands of years ago, the Emperor and his massive Terracotta Army have been trapped in stone for millennia. When a rogue Chinese military faction resurrects the ruthless ruler, the O'Connells must team up with a mysterious immortal guardian to track the Emperor across China—from the neon-lit streets of Shanghai to the snowy peaks of the Himalayas—to stop him from drinking from the Pool of Eternal Life and unleashing his unstoppable undead army upon the modern world.
