The Lego Batman Movie

In the 2017 animated superhero comedy The Lego Batman Movie, a spin-off of The Lego Movie, the caped crusader's biggest vulnerability isn't a supervillain, but his own profound fear of intimacy. Batman (voiced by Will Arnett) spends his days basking in the adulation of Gotham City and his nights eating microwave lobster in absolute, lonely isolation inside Wayne Manor. When the Joker (Zach Galifianakis) surrenders himself along with Gotham's entire rogues' gallery to the city's new, progressive Police Commissioner, Barbara Gordon (Rosario Dawson), Batman is left without a purpose. Suspecting his arch-nemesis is up to something, Batman accidentally adopts the overly enthusiastic orphan Dick Grayson (Michael Cera). He then teams up with Dick to steal Superman’s Phantom Zone projector to banish Joker once and for all. The plan backfires when the Joker uses the projector to recruit cinema's greatest villains—including Sauron, Voldemort, and King Kong—forcing Batman to drop his lone-wolf act, embrace his surrogate family, and learn to work with others to save Gotham from complete destruction.
