Samson is a fun Christian movie that manages to pull off the ambitious scope of a Samson epic while not feeling too disconnected from the Biblical account like we've come to expect from Hollywood Biblical adaptations. This movie in many ways feels like a "Christian" superhero movie, with Samson's divine strength showing off in a spectacular, fun-to-watch way in this movie. For the main battle scene between Samson and the 3,000 Philistines alone, this movie is worth a watch. The battle scene is big, exciting, and action-packed, and manages to pull off a fast-paced sequence in a competent manner better than most Christian movies. I first watched this movie a year or two after it came out, and I was impressed. I was impressed largely because I've seen plenty of Christian movies, and I know what the standard for Christian action flicks normally looks like, and this one rose above. So if you enjoy Christian movies with a punch, check this one out!
