Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

In the 2016 action thriller Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, former military police investigator turned wandering drifter Jack Reacher (Tom Cruise) returns to his old headquarters in Washington, D.C., to meet Major Susan Turner (Cobie Smulders), who has been helping him on his cross-country travels. Upon arrival, Reacher discovers Turner has been arrested under false charges of treason linked to the suspicious deaths of two soldiers in Afghanistan. Suspecting a high-level military cover-up, Reacher breaks Turner out of custody just as a team of ruthless mercenaries targets them both. While on the run from corporate defense contractor Parasource and a cold-blooded assassin known as the Hunter (Patrick Heusinger), Reacher is hit with a second bombshell: a paternity suit alleging he has a 15-year-old daughter named Samantha (Danika Yarosh). Forced to protect Samantha while unravelling a deadly arms-trafficking conspiracy, Reacher and Turner race across New Orleans to clear their names and expose the corrupt military officials pulling the strings.
