Madam Secretary

Created by Barbara Hall, the CBS political drama series Madam Secretary follows Elizabeth McCord (Téa Leoni), a shrewd, pragmatic former CIA analyst and college professor who is unexpectedly appointed U.S. Secretary of State by President Conrad Dalton (Keith Carradine) after her predecessor dies in a suspicious plane crash.
