Biggest Strength The film strikes a perfect balance between hilarious character-driven comedy and genuine respect for classic martial arts cinema. The choreography and visual direction during action set pieces—particularly Tai Lung’s high-stakes prison escape and Shifu's food-based training duel with Po—are breathtakingly fluid, while John Powell and Hans Zimmer's traditional Chinese-infused musical score adds real emotional weight to Po's journey toward self-acceptance. Biggest Weakness While Po and Shifu receive rich, deeply satisfying character development, the members of the Furious Five—aside from Tigress—are given very little screen time or individual depth. Beyond displaying their unique animal fighting styles in brief skirmishes, most of the Five function primarily as background set dressing rather than fully realized supporting characters.
