Jaws 2

In the 1978 horror thriller Jaws 2, four years after the terrifying events that devastated the seaside resort community of Amity Island, Police Chief Martin Brody (Roy Scheider) is still carrying deep psychological trauma from his encounter with the great white shark. Just as the town begins to regain financial stability and celebrate new resort developments, mysterious disappearances occur off the coast—including two missing divers, a destroyed speedboat, and a dead killer whale washed ashore with massive bite marks. Brody grows convinced another monstrous great white is stalking the waters, but his warnings are dismissed by Mayor Larry Vaughn (Murray Hamilton) and the town council, who view him as a paranoid, shell-shocked alarmist and fire him from the force. Brody's worst fears are realized when the rogue shark sets its sights on a fleet of teenage sailors trapped out at sea, including his own sons, Mike and Sean. Stripped of his badge and operating alone, Brody launches a desperate, one-man rescue operation to hunt down the apex predator before it slaughters the stranded teens.
